In this blog, I will be taking you through each step of the process of making my commercial.

First, I had to find an app in which I could make my commercial. The teacher made a suggestion to use an editing app called Capcut. I have some prior experience with this app so I know how to work with the tools in it.

My next step was to find a song for my commercial. I have many personal playlists so the process of picking a song was time-consuming but enjoyable. I narrowed it down to three artists: Frank Ocean, Steve Lacy, and Boa. Each of these artists has a song that I feel would work great with my commercial. After listening to these songs repeatedly I decided to pick, "Pink+White" by Frank Ocean. It's a song that I really enjoy and it fits my commercial. I picked the last 20-30 seconds of the song because I enjoy the beat and vibe of it.

The next step was to find photos and videos that I wanted to put on my commercial. I went through my camera roll and decided on 20 photos and two short videos. The majority of the photos I chose are known as "Live Photos." These photos are brought to life and become 1.5-second videos. They are my favorite photos because they are in the moment and show the situation of the photo. 

Some of the songs were taken on the Photo Booth app on my computer. These photos remind me of how happy I am around my friends and how much they mean to me. This photo is an example of one of my favorite classes and moments in school.
