Production Blog

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog!!

Once again this blog is a continuation of how I'm doing throughout the process of creating my "all about me" commercial.

In my last blog, I mentioned that I was dwelling between two ideas about how to organize the order in which my photos and videos would go. I decided that I was going to do it in backward chronological order. I started with photos of me now and then I progressively transitioned to old photos of me this was to show how I am and how I was.

I used 4 photos of me as a baby, but I might add more. The length of my commercial so far is 25 seconds. I want to reach at least 40 seconds, therefore I have to keep adding more photos and videos. Some of my photos are not "live" so I've had to improvise and change the style of my video for it to cohesively flow together.

For the commercial, there will be text on the screen including my name, production credits, and song credits. I have yet to find a font and font color for the text but I know that it must have a good contrast with the media in the background.

In the commercial, not all photos are of me because I wish to show the other aspects of my life and the things I like around me. This includes the beach, the moon, the sky, animals, and the world around me.

While picking out the photos I had to keep in mind that they must match with the vibe of the song. This is because it all must flow together for the commercial to look cohesive and aesthetically pleasing.

The photo above was taken in Little Island when I was visiting with my family this past summer. It was a family experience that I will never forget since it brought tons of great memories. I took this photo because I liked how the flowers looked even after it had rained all day. I also like how there are a few different colored flowers at the bottom right corner. Overall, the process of making my commercial is going great and I like how the commercial is coming out. I hope you guys like the commercial as much as I do.
