Our pitch

Pitch A: Two babysitters stumble upon an eerie message delivered to them by the child they are looking after.

Pitch B: Two best friends develop repeated dejavu when they keep seeing the same person multiple times during their round world trip.

Pitch A: The decision of this pitch came from the inspiration of a childhood television show that Katherine and I used to watch. The premise had something to do with paintings telling the future of what was going to happen later on in the show. This episode in particular had the sort of horror/ thriller genre applied to it. Gaining inspiration from that, we thought of many other horror movies that have to do with babysitters and things happening inside the house, or things going on with the child. Both Katherine and I found this idea especially unnerving if the child had something to do with whatever was happening in the house. That is where our thought process was with this pitch in particular.

B- Katherine and I are both very interested in the thriller/ horror genre, if it wasn't obvious by now. We also both love to travel, and a number one fear during traveling and going places is seeing people we might know, that we may not like. Although our pitch is a leap from this aspect, we decided that an idea of a stalker was horrifying enough for two girls in different countries to have. The inclusion of another person was also a driving factor in the creation of this pitch, as we thought the addition of someone else would create an interested, and unnerving dynamic. Our idea is also loosely based off of other stalker horror movies, which was added to our love of travel.

Final decision: Since we cannot travel to different places at the moment, we decided  to go with Pitch A: Two babysitters stumble upon an eerie message delivered to them by the child they are looking after.
